Typographic Hierarchy
It is important to create distinction and hierarchy in our typography. Establishing a consistent typographic hierarchy will help to add clarity to our messaging and communications. By following these basic usage rules, we can maintain a consistent use of type across our touch-points and communications.

Type and Color
White Background: On white and light gray backgrounds, headers have the flexibility to Black, Blue 600, or Violet 800. Use color to create a sense of hierarchy and dynamism on a page. Blue 600 and Violet 800 Backgrounds: For readability and compliance purposes, all copy on these backgrounds should be white only.* For body copy, use the regular weight to create more contrast and to help with legibility.

System Typeface
Our system typeface is Arial, a typeface built into most computer operating systems. We use Arial in PowerPoint and other digital applications where our brand typeface is not readily available or when we are sharing files with partners and clients who do not have access to our brand typeface.
